Nick Anderson
Lead Trainer
Hey, I’m Nick (he/him). I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and USPA Certified Powerlifting Coach.
I spent much of my teenage and early adult life being unathletic and not caring about fitness at all. As time went on, I increasingly felt the need for a change. I experimented with several modalities, including extreme dieting, excessive cardio, and many other methods that just never seemed to stick. Eventually, I discovered a love and passion for strength training, and I’ve never looked back since.
This led me to truly discover what I was capable of, not just in the gym, but also in my everyday life, fostering a feeling of self-confidence.
When I experienced this transformation, I wanted to teach others that fitness doesn’t have to be about how you look, but it’s about how you feel. It’s about feeling good in your body and how it moves and functions. I believe that strength training is a metaphor for life. When you demonstrate to yourself that you’re stronger than you think, you become more confident in yourself and your abilities.

Personal Trainer
Peace,
My name is Kennét Anderson, an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the illustrious Hampton University & a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Strength & Conditioning. Being a lifelong athlete participating in dance, gymnastics, basketball & competitive bodybuilding, I have always cherished an active lifestyle.
The more I leaned toward introspection, the more curious I became about how our bodies worked.
As a coach, it is so fulfilling to see the many amazing challenges our bodies can overcome through confidence & strength when we train with intention. As someone whose purpose is to be a gap filler, I aim to help my clients reach their fitness goals in knowledgeable & holistic ways. I understand that our lives are not monotonous & neither should our training be. With your whole wellbeing in mind, I work with my clients to curate a training plan that progressively improves:
- strength
- endurance
- flexibility
- and mental fortitude
When I am not coaching, I am wearing one of my other hats as a natural hairstylist and fashion designer. Looking good & feeling good is a form of self love so I look forward to helping you show up as the highest version of yourself!

Hi! I am a full time mom of 3 young kids & a wife to a High School Football Coach! Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing all kinds of sports, but really soccer was my love up until my knee injuries early in college.
I have a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Health & Physical Education. I taught Health & PE for 8 years and started my own health & wellness business on the side after our first child was born 7 years ago. I am looking forward to joining the team at Redefine!
Alex Laurel
Personal Trainer
Hey there, my name is Alex. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
I started my fitness journey in the gym when I was in high school when my coach for Cross Country had told me that lifting would help me get faster. Yet, it wasn’t until I was in college that I had gone fully into lifting. I started to see myself hit numbers I didn’t think I would while also seeing my body change for the better so that led me to getting certified as a personal trainer. I have learned a lot since I started my journey but there is still much to learn and that excites me.
I want to inspire and help others get to where they want to be. I’ll put in 100% of my effort to help you as much as I can toward being a part of achieving your goals.

Personal Trainer
Hey there! I’m Ash, a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council of Exercise, specializing in pre and post-natal exercise. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from VCU, where I discovered the life-changing concept of movement as medicine. My approach to training is simple yet powerful: movement equals freedom, and I believe that exercise can unlock new levels of personal strength and well-being.
In 2018, I found my way to powerlifting, which sparked a deeper connection between mind and body and taught me how empowering it is to push past mental and physical limits. Today, my goal as a coach is to help others experience the same—to appreciate the incredible potential of their bodies, harness the power of their minds, and achieve amazing things when the two are connected.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me local shows, laying on rocks by the river, crafting, reading, or playing video games. Let’s work together to make movement a part of your everyday freedom!
