Do I even need a personal trainer?

Q. How much does it cost?

The cost will vary depending on the type of training you decide on. Sessions will range anywhere from ~$8 up to ~$31/session.

Q. What about rescheduling or canceling a session? 

If you need to cancel out of a session, you can do so through our mobile application.

Q. Will I lose my sessions if I reschedule/cancel?

AS long as you remove yourself from the schedule 90 minutes before the start of the session, it will be credited back to your account so you can reschedule.

Q. What if I’m traveling? 

For our semi-private clients, we have a mobile app that gives us the ability to send you through your smartphone. This way you will never miss a beat, even when you are out of town or traveling.

Q. What’s the scheduling window like?

You have to make sure you schedule for a sessions 30 minutes before it starts. That’s all.

Q. What are the qualifications of your personal trainers?

All of our trainers are certified, and have various levels expertise allowing us to properly train all of our clients. Being that we are a personal training studio, and not a big box gym, we can concentrate on the personalization of our clients goals.

Q. What’s the benefit of training with your studio over somewhere else?

The main benefit is the quality of training and experience you’ll receive at the studio. You aren’t “just another number” like most places. Our studio provides that small community atmosphere that makes most people feel comfortable while working out.

Q. Do you charge for nutritional guidance/planning?

Our semi-private personal training clients get nutritional guidance and planning included with the service.

Q. Will I work with the same trainer every time? 

The beauty of our scheduling system is that you can adjust your schedule to work out whenever need be. Some days you may come in the morning, and some in the evenings. With our semi-private personal training you will train with different trainers depending on the day or time. However, you will still have your very own personalized workout, which any of our trainers can walk and guide you through.

Yes. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Most of our clients stay with us for a long time, and we want them to be here. We want to provide you with the best possible service. If you do not feel like we provided the right type of service for you, you can cancel within 30 days and receive your money back.

Q. What’s included in your personal training programs?

Semi-private clients receive customized workouts, nutritional consults, and monthly measurements. Our training is geared towards those that need guidance, want specific results, or need to learn how to lift weights properly.

Q. What should I expect when coming in for my initial consult?

Make sure you wear comfortable workout clothes. You will first fill out a brief exercise and medical history questionnaire for us. After that we will talk about your goals. We will then go through a brief workout and assessment. This will help us see where your fitness level is, and see some of your strength and/or weaknesses. We will finish up by sitting down and providing you with the best training option based off of your goals and our assessment.

Q. What should I expect on my first day of training?

When you come in for your first day, we would prefer that you start on a treadmill or elliptical for a few minutes before the session starts to get your heart rate up a bit. After that one of our trainers will walk you through our dynamic warmup. After this, they will show you how to perform the rest of your workout. That’s it!

Q. What happens in a typical personal training session?

You’ll generally go through a dynamic warmup, go over your workout with your trainer, and complete with a bit of a stretch and head out.

Q. What do I need to bring/wear?

Just comfortable workout clothes. Everybody wears something a little different, so it’s really up to you.

Q. Why can’t I just do cardio?

Cardio is a great addition to a properly structure workout plan, but cardio will only take you so far. You will need to incorporate weight/strength training in order to build lean muscle tissue and burn off excess fat.

Q. What kind of clients do you have at your training facility?

Our clients range from workout beginners to advanced clients. Completely out of shape to in shape. We also have a wide age range of clients from people in their 20’s to clients well into their 60’s.

Q. Where do you offer your personal training?

Our personal training is offered at our physical location in the fan.

Q. Where can I  place my things when I work out?

We have cubbies for you to place your clothes and other gear while you workout.

Q. Do you have showers?

Yes, we have a shower both upstairs and downstairs. If you need to shower before you head into work, that’s not a problem.

Q. How long do the sessions last?

Our sessions are schedule for an hour long. You won’t have a problem fitting in your workout in that hour. However, some workouts will be shorter or longer depending on the type of workout you’re on.

Q. What should I eat before a workout?

Something light is always good before a workout. A protein shake or a simple carbohydrate for some quick energy before the start of the workout is good.

Q. What should I eat after a workout?

Generally you can have something a little more carb dense, but you will want some protein as well. A protein shake blended with a banana is a perfect combination.

Q. How long will it take me to see results?

You will generally see some results in your first month of training with us. The amount of results will vary greatly depending on your initial fitness level, eating outside of the studio, and overall effort put into place.

Q. How many times a week will I meet with my trainer?

At the very least 3x/week. We do have options for 4x and 5x per week. Those looking to expedite results may want to workout more often per week.

Q. Do you have all the necessary equipment?

Yes, our facility is outfitted will all the equipment necessary to get you the results you’re looking for.

Q. What style of training do you provide (military, etc.)?

Our trainers are generally easy going, and personable. But we will help push you during your workouts. That’s our job:).

Q. What fitness level do I need to be at to start?

We have clients with varying levels of fitness. We always like to say that it doesn’t matter where you start, only that you start.

Q. How often are sessions held?

Sessions are held throughout the day, mornings and evenings. Generally from 5am-11am and 4pm-8pm each weekday. Then 8am-11am Saturday and Sunday.
