Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much does it cost?

We have a variety of training services available that cater to your fitness goals! If you want to find out more, please contact us through one of the forms on our contact page.

Q. What about rescheduling or canceling a session?

If you need to cancel out of a session, you can do so through our mobile application.

Q. Will I lose my sessions if I reschedule/cancel?

As long as you remove yourself from the schedule 90 minutes before the start of the session, it will be credited back to your account so you can reschedule.

Q. What if I’m traveling?

Our mobile app allows us to send workouts to you through your smartphone. This way you will never miss a beat, even when you are out of town or traveling. However, you can also schedule your session at another time during the current month.

Q. What’s the scheduling window like?

You have to make sure you schedule sessions 30 minutes before it starts. That’s all.

Q. What are the qualifications of your personal trainers?

All of our trainers are certified, and have various levels of expertise which allows us to properly train all of our clients. Being that we are a personal training studio, and not a big box gym, we can concentrate on connecting with our clients, assisting them with the goal-setting process and customizing their program to help them achieve the goal that they set.

Q. What’s the benefit of training with your studio over somewhere else?`

The main benefit is the quality of training and experience you’ll receive at the studio. You aren’t “just another number” like most places. Our studio provides that small community atmosphere that makes most people feel comfortable while working out.

Q. Do you charge for nutritional guidance/planning?

All of our training services provide some level of nutritional guidance and planning.

Q. Will I work with the same trainer every time?

In general, you will work with the same trainer every time. Our semi-private training sessions allow you to schedule for any of our open sessions, so it’s possible you may have a different trainer in this instance.

Q. Is there a money back guarantee?

Yes. Most of our clients stay with us for a long time, and we want them to be here. We want to provide you with the best possible service. This is why we offer a money back guarantee on both our semi-private, 1-on-1 and 2:1 personal training packages.

Semi-Private Money Back Guarantee: We offer a 30 day money back guarantee for semi-private training. If you do not feel like we provided an appropriate type of service for you, you can cancel within 30 days and receive your money back.

1-on-1 Money Back Guarantee: We have a 14-day money back guarantee for 1-on-1 sessions. If you do not feel like we provided an appropriate type of service for you, you can cancel within 14 days and receive your money back.

Q. What’s included in your personal training programs?

Semi-private, 1:1, Hybrid, and 2:1 clients receive customized workouts, nutritional consults, and monthly measurements. Our training is geared towards those needing guidance, specific results, or learning how to execute various strength exercises properly.

Q. What should I expect with my virtual consult?

The virtual consultation allows us to conveniently connect via Zoom to establish a dialogue, learn more about you, your health and activity history, your areas of challenge and your areas of strength. In turn, you learn more about us, our services, our professional team and our space. With that knowledge, we can decide together whether we have a fit and then what potential paths forward might look like.

Q. What should I expect on my first day of training?

When you come in for your first day, your trainer will perform some baseline movement and strength assessments and learn more about what you hope to achieve. The information shared in this session will provide the foundation upon which your initial program will be based and then adjusted over time as you progress.

Q. What happens in a typical personal training session?

You’ll generally go through a dynamic warmup, preview your workout with your trainer, finish with a bit of a stretch and head out.

Q. What do I need to bring/wear?

Just comfortable workout clothes. Everybody wears something a little different, so it’s really up to you.

Q. Why can’t I just do cardio?

Cardio is a great addition to a properly structured workout plan, but cardio will only take you so far. You will need to incorporate weight/strength training in order to build lean muscle tissue and burn off excess fat.

Q. What kind of clients do you have at your training facility?

Our clients range from workout beginners to advanced clients. Some are significantly deconditioned and others are high-performing athletes. We also have a wide age range of clients from those in their 20s to clients well into their 70s.

Q. Do you have showers?

Yes, we conveniently have showers upstairs and downstairs. Bring your own towel from home. We supply some basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Our sessions are scheduled for an 60 minutes. You won’t have a problem fitting in your workout into that hour. However, some workouts will be shorter or longer depending on the type of workout you’re on.

Q. What should I eat before a workout?

Something light is always good before a workout. A protein shake or some simple carbohydrate for quick energy before the start of a workout is good.

Q. What should I eat after a workout?

Generally you can have something a little more carbohydrate dense, but you will want some protein as well. A protein shake blended with a banana is a perfect combination.
