    Book a free intro consultation. We'll sit down with you for about an hour to discuss your goals, assess your fitness level, and find the right training option for you. No pressure, no sales pitch.
  • Can I try a session before committing?

    Your free intro consultation gives you a chance to meet our team, see the facility, and get a feel for how we train. It's the best way to decide if we're the right fit.
  • What’s the difference between semi-private, 2-on-1, and 1-on-1 training?

    Semi-Private: You train alongside up to 3 other clients, but everyone follows their own fully personalized program. It's our most popular option and the best value. 2-on-1 Partner: You and a friend, partner, or family member train together with one dedicated trainer. You each get a customized program. 1-on-1: Fully private sessions with your trainer on our dedicated upper floor. Maximum attention and personalization. See our training services page for details.
  • Why should I choose ReDefineRVA over another gym or studio?

    We've been Richmond's boutique personal training studio since 2013. Unlike big box gyms or group fitness classes, every client here gets a fully personalized training program — even in our semi-private sessions. You're never just following along with a class. Our small studio atmosphere means you'll never feel like just another number.
  • Do I need to sign a contract?

    Monthly plans are billed month-to-month with no long-term contract. We also offer prepaid session packs with no recurring commitment — just flexible sessions you use at your own pace.
  • What kind of clients do you work with?

    We train a wide range of people — from beginners who've never picked up a weight to experienced athletes looking to push past plateaus. Our clients include professionals, retirees, couples, and anyone who wants a personalized approach to fitness in a welcoming environment.
  • Do I need to be in shape to start?

    Not at all. We work with clients of all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. Every program is fully customized to where you are right now, and we'll progress at a pace that's safe and challenging for you.
  • What if I have an injury or physical limitation?

    We work with many clients who have injuries, chronic conditions, or physical limitations. Your program will be designed around what your body can do safely, and we'll coordinate with your healthcare provider if needed.
  • What should I expect on my first day of training?

    Your trainer will walk you through your personalized program, teach you proper form on each exercise, and make sure you're comfortable with the equipment and facility. It's a learning day — no one expects you to know everything on day one.
